Early this summer I got to take a family ladies trip to Ojo Caliente
. We had three generations all together, and this place was unreal. Tucked in the dry mountains of New Mexico, it's like a dessert oasis. Natural mineral pools, mud bath, saunas, rustic cabins, and awesome places to hike all around. It's crazy, guys. My best advice is to go in early summer or early fall, when it's just warm enough to not freeze in the mud bath, and just cool enough to soak in all of the hot mineral waters.
One of my favorite parts of the trip was the walk up to this old barn. The resort had pictures of it from when it was torn up and falling down all over, but they have built it back up since then. My aunt, mom and I were lucky because it was open and we got to peak inside.
Hey momma, I reeeeeally wanna go back :)
